Tropical Storm Cosme is expected to weaken through Thursday morning. Both storms are being tracked through the eastern Pacific Ocean, off the coast of southwestern Mexico, according to the NHC.
Hurricane Barbara has formed in the Pacific as the first hurricane in 2025. The National Hurricane Center is also tracking Tropical Storm Cosme.
Located about 620 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California at 4 a.m. Hawaii time, Cosme is moving west-northwest at 6 mph with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph.
