Officials have revealed a shocking new twist in Malcolm-Jamal Warner's death by drowning while he was vacationing in Costa Rica.
The rip current risk will be high across the Northern Outer Banks from Duck to Hatteras today. The threat drops to low Frisco to Ocracko, then a moderate risk of rips from Ocracko to Cape Lookout.
Warner was with his family in Costa Rica when he was pulled under by a high current and drowned. Another person, a 35-year-old man, was caught in the same current and is in critical condition.
