Visalia City Logo Redesign Committee will send its top five logo selections to the Visalia City Council, even though the majority of the five-member committee weren’t enthusiastic about the choices.
VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- After major backlash for changing its city logo, the Visalia City Council has decided to keep both the previous logo and the new one.
Duncan, a current council member, won the city’s three-way mayoral race with 45.5% of the total vote. The new officials will be sworn into office at the City Council meeting on Dec. 17.
The city council formed the logo redesign committee at its June 17 meeting to oversee the process of replacing the “Breaking through the V” logo, which debuted earlier this year.
