Frederick A.O. “Fritz” Schwarz served as the Church Committee’s chief counsel, and is currently chief counsel to the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University Law School.

Members have already pledged $5 million of the $7.8 million needed to build the first phase of the church, according to Dr. Dennis Dickos, chairman of the steering committee formed to move the church.
