Emergency crews responded to Manheim Township after a tree had fallen on a house on Thursday evening.

Oregon's so-called Christmas tree bill allocates funds to various projects in Marion and Polk counties. Millions were earmarked for food banks, emergency services, and water treatment facilities.

A Roanoke man has been reunited with a valuable ring he lost 15 years ago at a local Christmas tree farm.

The store will open in the space formerly occupied by Christmas Tree Shops, next to Dick’s Sporting Goods. The Christmas Tree Shops location closed in August 2023.
