The Blount County K9 Association's annual chili cook-off has raised nearly $100,000 since it started.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND)—The annual chili and soup fundraiser for the Mary Bryant Home for the Blind and Visually Impaired is returning for the 38th year.

The Chapman United Methodist Church will host a brats and chili dog supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, in the fellowship hall. The menu includes a brat or chili dog, sides and desserts.

The Delmont Recreation Committee is seeking entries for its annual chili cook-off fundraiser, set for noon on March 22 at Yellow Bridge Brewery. There is a $10 donation requested to attend the event.

The standard chili dog here is popular and goes for $5.85. “But once people start picking multiple toppings, we’ll just suggest the Kitchen Sink,” she says.
