Chesterfield Royal have issued a statement after a crash on the hospital site this morning – which forced the closure of two car parks.

Christopher was taken to Chesterfield Royal Hospital, where staff would not normally treat major trauma. Surgeon Gary Hicken said it was an extremely "close call" for Christopher.
