The much anticipated expansion of the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel remains on pace for completion in August 2027.

While it's not rare to see large ships floating near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, the training exercise caused many residents to wonder why military boats were posted in the area.
