As a freshman in 2023, he did not see game action. After two seasons with a Big Ten program, Champ Long is headed to the CAA program. His high school résumé, however, tells a different story.

He traveled with us. Champ Long played in a couple of series in the Penn State game a year ago. So we have names and quarterbacks that we think are capable of doing the job.
