The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 56-year-old Carver woman, was transported by Carver EMS to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth where she was pronounced dead.
EMS determined the driver suffered serious injuries, and a helicopter from Boston MedFlight was requested to fly the person to the hospital, the Carver Fire Department said in a statement.
