The festival typically runs from April 1 to April 30; however, four of the five tulip farms will now be open through this weekend. The final day of the festival is Sunday, May 4.

In the Skagit Valley, the tulip festival is an economic engine, supporting not just small businesses, but nonprofits, as well. About 40% of the festival's visitors come from out of state.
