Wildfires burning in Canada’s oil-producing region are prompting investors to examine the potential impact to midstream companies.

There's a haze in the sky across a large portion of the Midwest. The smoke coming from more than 210 fires burning in Canada, according to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Center, on Friday, June 6.

Environment Canada says wildfire smoke is affecting air quality in northeastern British Columbia. The agency issued special air quality statements Saturday for Fort Nelson and the Peace River region, warning of increasing health risks with a rise in wildfire smoke set to hit over the next couple of days.
