Abby Dow has revealed how consultant coach Brian Ashton has challenged the Red Roses to “re-think the philosophy of rugby” and inspired the side to take their games to new heights.

The straight-talking Ashton is reluctant to be cast in the role of Messiah, saying England will play "rugby the players want to play. "This is a joint venture, not the Brian Ashton show," he said.
