HAMMOND — A 37-year-old Chicago man is in serious condition at an Illinois hospital after being shot multiple times Sunday night at a Hammond bowling alley, police said.

The bowling alley changed, too, recently undergoing renovations - adding new computers, monitors, seating and carpeting. In recent years, the owners added a bar. Local bands played there.
