HAMILTON — Police have charged a 42-year-old man with second-degree murder after partial human remains found in a Hamilton-area landfill were confirmed to belong to Shalini Singh.

An official confirmed July 10 that a body found floating in the Pearl River in the Jackson metro area is being recovered.

The body of 47-year-old Robert L. Waller, of Wayne County was found Monday evening in the Charlton Heights area, according to an update from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.

The body of a missing 21-year-old since 1973, was identified in Marlborough, New Hampshire, using her siblings’ DNA over 50 years later, officials said.
