Ohio's sales tax holiday has expanded from 10 days to two weeks this year.
“Ohio’s sales tax holiday is a practical way we can help working families keep more of their hard-earned dollars,” said Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives Matt Huffman.
Ohio's two-week sales tax exemption runs August 1-14 and covers most items under $500, from electronics to clothing, but excludes alcohol, tobacco and titled goods.
