As containment increased on the blaze along Highway 74, most residents can now return home. Evacuation orders are still in place for a few.

As firefighters continued to get the Rosa Fire under control Thursday along Highway 74, Cal Fire lifted an evacuation warning for most of the lightly populated area of Pinyon Crest known as RVC-1916.
