The highly-anticipated Ryder Cup begins on Friday at Bethpage State Park's Black Course, located in Farmingdale, New York. As Team Europe and Team USA gear up for their biennial clash, there will be one notable difference for fans familiar with the gruelling golf course.

The sign has temporarily disappeared from its usually spot, on the black railing that separates the clubhouse from the first tee, because of logistical issues.
