The U.S. launched several strikes on Yemen's capital a day after a Houthi missile struck near Israel's main international airport, Ben Gurion, in Tel-Aviv.

The organization said around 1,800 flights across the continent had been affected in total. Israel's Ben Gurion Airport is empty of passengers on Friday after all flights were canceled.

Evidence continued to grow that the United States was considering joining Israel’s bombing campaign. Israel’s latest attacks followed two rounds of Iranian missiles fired into Israel.
