Billy Joe Lester, 36, was found by Williams County Sheriff's Office K9 handler Kyle Potts and K9 Zuko after a short pursuit, Montpelier police said.

West Chester Township officials say a police K9 previously reported as missing has been found safe. Authorities say a neighbor located K9 Officer Rico and returned him to his handler.

Police did eventually catch the man in a wooded area near I-235. According to West Des Moines police, the man was wanted by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
