The last sinkhole survey completed in Missouri was updated on April 24, 2024.Over 16,000 sinkholes have been identified in Missouri and it’s likely many more are undiscovered.

A suspected tornado hit Chesterfield, Missouri, on Wednesday afternoon, after the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a warning for St. Louis and much of the surrounding area.
