PISMO BEACH, Calif. -- The gloomy clouds and scattered showers Saturday did not keep spring breakers away from Pismo Beach. People say Pismo is a local and tourist favorite.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- The clouds didn't seem to keep people away from Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, where many flocked to the boardwalk for some Memorial Day fun.

Clouds will be extra slow to clear and the sun will be short lived. Temperatures cool down mid-week as low pressure approaches the viewing area.

Even on a cloudy day Siesta Key Beach is photogenic. It would appear as if the clouds parted specifically to allow streams of light to shine through, creating a perfect photo opp. Photo provided ...
