Barcelona will face rivals Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final after Ferran Torres secured them a 1-0 win at Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, progressing 5-4 on aggregate from the semi-final tie. Madrid ousted Real Sociedad 5-4 on aggregate as well after a 4-4 draw on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid came into the second leg of their Copa del Rey tie with Real Sociedad up 1–0 on aggregate. Los Blancos looked to secure a similar result at the Santiago Bernabéu, except it was the visitors who got on the scoresheet first. Ander Barrenetxea caught Lucas Vázquez lacking and then beat Andriy Lunin near post to bring the tie back level.

Real Madrid looks to lock up its place in the 2025 Spanish Copa del Rey championship match, taking a 1-0 lead on aggregate into the second leg of a semifinal with Real Sociedad.
