Three Flint City Council members have called for colleague Leon El-Alamin to resign from his elected position following his arrest on charges of assault and domestic violence.

Reading City Council voted 6-1 Monday night to appoint Stephen Gieringer to a vacancy on the Reading Redevelopment Authority.
