BTS members RM and V begin mandatory military duty in South Korea as band aims for 2025 reunion Jimin, Jung Kook and Suga are set to wrap their military service as late as June 21, media reports say.
BTS leader RM reflected on a diss that he faced early in his idol career. In 2013, rapper B-Free said that RM and Suga, a rapper in the group, had sold out to become idols.
RM and V of BTS enlisted in their required South Korean military service. Jungkook and Jimin are scheduled to enlist soon, so now the K-pop group is on pause until 2025.
RM, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook were the last four to enlist in December 2023. Jin was the first BTS member to complete his mandatory military service in June last year.
BTS members V aka Kim Taehyung and Jungkook's surprise IG live on July 17 received acknowledgement by the Indosian govenment.
