Tyler Lee Reedy is a Bettendorf High School class of 2014 graduate and joins the district after working as a financial analyst at the Rock Island Arsenal.

Albert "Pete" Lehman, a soon-to-be 91-year-old lifelong Bettendorf resident will be this year's Bettendorf July Fourth parade grand marshal.

Principal Turner's resignation earned a 4-3 vote from the Bettendorf School Board.

Among them was a Bettendorf high school graduate, Brian Hook, who had been serving on the Board of Trustees of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars at the Smithsonian Institution.
