Anthony Davis missed time because of an abductor strain after he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks last season, but that was not the only significant injury that the 10-time All-Star dealt with.

Davis missed significant time with a left adductor strain. Davis averaged 24.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.2 blocks in 51 games (all starts) with the Lakers and Mavericks in 2024-25.

Mavericks star Anthony Davis recently underwent surgery to repair a detached retina in his eye. Davis is expected to make a full recovery in time for Dallas’ training camp, Charania added.

Davis, 32, played in just nine games for the Mavs in the 2024-25 season due to injury, but he averaged 20 points and just over 10 rebounds per game.
