ANNA MARIA ISLAND, Florida – For more than 100 years, the Anna Maria City Pier has been a destination for residents and tourists, a scenic gathering spot in the center of town.

The ferry connects the Bradenton Dry Dock, the Anna Maria Island City Pier and the Bridge Street Pier. It will run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, barring any inclement weather.

The new “Gulf Islands Ferry Service” will take riders from the Bradenton Riverwalk day dock just east of the Green Bridge to either Anna Maria or the Bridge Street Pier in Bradenton Beach.
