A Sunday night system-wide Alaska Airlines ground stop due to an IT outage ended after about three hours, the carrier says.

Alaska Airlines has requested a ground stop for all its mainline aircraft, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) status page said on Sunday.

An hours-long IT issue that grounded Alaska Airlines flights nationwide Sunday night was lifted at 11 p.m. PT, the airline said in a statement.
