The Watertown Post 17 and Aberdeen Smittys' American Legion Baseball teams are off to a combined 35-8 start and nobody should be surprised.

The Aberdeen Smittys Junior Legion (16-22) is the No. 7 seed and hosts No. 8 Sioux Falls East (16-22) in a state-qualifying series. Game 1 is set for 6 p.m. Friday with Game 2 at noon on Saturday.

The event will take place on March 23rd at Post 356 at 400 Aberdeen Parkway in Panama City. The festivities will start at 1 p.m. and wrap up around 5 p.m.
