Kostyrka arrived in Buncombe County from Guilford County on Friday, Sept. 27. She spent most of the last few days at the Agricultural Center before coming to A-B Tech to help with the set-up Saturday.

The Agricultural Center has supplies for pets, like crates and food, that the A-B Tech shelter does not. Kenny Phelps, 53, was one of the first to be bussed to the A-B Tech shelter from the old one.
