Change is coming to 7th Street Elementary School. NLRSD Dr. Gregory Pileswki told KATV they are taking immediate action following research showing the school is underperforming.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The North Little Rock School Board approved a plan just days after the March 31 tornado to overhaul 7th Street Elementary School with changes to size and curriculum.

For the 2026-'27 school year, three elementary schools will be consolidating into one, single-story, new building next where Kennedy Elementary currently sits at 7th Street and Chantel Street.
