ST CLAIR, Mo. — Police are investigating after a man was found dead behind a business in St. Clair, Missouri, Wednesday, the city's police department said.

A person was shot by a St. Clair police officer Friday night after authorities say the officer was dragged during a traffic stop. He is now facing charges.

Police said a man refused orders to drop a knife before he came out of an overturned vehicle, prompting a St. Clair police officer to shoot him.
