TxDOT plans to activate the new signal at the intersection of FM 60 and FM 50 near Snook on August 21 following 21 minor and 13 major crashes at the location just this year.

The Texas Department of Transportation is temporarily closing the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard bridge at I-35 for continued demolition of the north side of the bridge.
