The 13 Blue Ball Elementary School students on the bus were not injured in the 8:19 a.m. collision at Route 322 and Cabin Road, school district Superintendent Robert Hollister said.

Wake County is short about 322 bus drivers. On Monday, when buses rolled out before dawn to pick up students, WRAL News counted 66 delays reported through the Here Comes The Bus app.

The 322, from Crystal Palace bus garage, has been named as the poorest in the capital by Transport for London. Passengers on the Connex-run service suffer the most delays.
