Members of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary on Wednesday presented the organization with a $45,000 check for the proceeds of their largest annual fundraiser, the Empty Bowls Luncheon.

TUPELO — Hundreds of Salvation Army supporters congregated at the Tupelo Furniture Market for the 24th annual Empty Bowls Luncheon Wednesday.

This marks the 24th annual "Empty Bowls" event that raises money for West Texas Food Bank. At least 1,000 hand-made bowls will go up for sale at Odessa College.
