MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – University of Minnesota infectious disease expert Doctor Michael Osterholm does not support President Trump’s plan to withdraw the U-S from the World Health Organization. Osterholm says, “From a global public health perspective and specifically our health here in the United States, this is a public health disaster.”
The University of Minnesota is asking for $235 million from state taxpayers for the 2025-26 school year as part of its $5 billion budget.
