Monica Lewinsky said during a podcast interview on Wednesday that Bill Clinton should have resigned after the affair, and called out the former president for throwing her under the bus.
Monica Lewinsky is revisiting the events involving Bill Clinton that first put her in the media spotlight over 25 years ago, saying that the former president should have resigned from office at the time.
Lewinsky became a household name in 1998 when her two-year affair with Bill, who is married to Hillary Clinton, was revealed. Bill was impeached by the House of Representatives but was acquitted of all charges in 1999. He remained in office until the end of his second term in 2001.
