The DOT says that all westbound lanes will be closed Friday night for paving and restriping. They are expected to reopen Saturday morning. Two eastbound lanes have already reopened. The rest are expected to reopen by June 25.

Drivers, businesses, and residents of Wharton, NJ, are ready to celebrate. Work to repair a stretch of Interstate 80 in the Borough of Wharton is proceeding ahead of schedule, and all westbound lanes will be fully open this weekend.
On Friday night, June 13, all I-80 westbound lanes will be closed and traffic detoured for final paving and line painting. All lanes are expected to reopen on Saturday, June 14, weather permitting.
