When we asked Kentucky backers on social media about their expectations for UK vs. USC, fears centered around Gamecocks QB LaNorris Sellers.

South Carolina will be without two starters when it takes on Kentucky this Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium. On his weekly radio show on Thursday, Gamecocks coach Shane Beamer announced that South Carolina right tackle Cason Henry and center Nolan Hay will both be out against the Wildcats.

Clayton White had to get back to basics this week as the Gamecocks were charged with 16 missed tackles during a loss at Missouri. That total seemed much lower.

This week, South Carolina football legend John Abraham earned nomination for the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2026. The Hall of Fame announced a list of 128 modern-era players on Wednesday, and Abraham was the only Gamecock included.
