FORT STEWART, Ga. — Five soldiers are recovering after they were shot by a fellow Army sergeant at Fort Stewart in Georgia Wednesday morning, the commander of the base said during a press conference.

Five soldiers were shot after an active shooter opened fire at Fort Stewart military base in east Georgia, the Army said.
