A 300-acre wildfire burning near the Riverside and San Diego county border prompted evacuation warnings on Friday evening, which have since been lifted. The blaze was first reported at around 5:30 p.m.

A new wildfire was reported today at 6:28 p.m. in San Diego County. Surrey Fire has been burning on private land. At this time, there is no information on the containment of the fire and the cause of it has yet to be determined.
