A worker died when a roof partially collapsed Thursday morning in Brooklyn, the NYPD said. The FDNY said it received a call shortly before 9 a.m. for a collapse in the rear of a two-story building at Quentin Road and East 32nd Street in Marine Park.

The victim was inside a shed behind a two-story building at Quentin Road and E. 32nd St. in Marine Park around 8:50 a.m. when the shed’s roof collapsed.

The worker, a 43-year-old man, was trapped under the fallen roof in an extension behind a former restaurant in Brooklyn, the Buildings Department said.
