Thousands participated in a march in Downtown Dallas Sunday, protesting the Trump administration's immigration policies.

The show of force comes after Democrats in Congress have faced widespread criticism from their base that they are not doing enough to push back against Trump’s agenda.

Union members gathered outside the Northwest ICE Processing Center to call for the release of two Washington residents who were detained this month.

Several immigration groups are organizing “Mega March 2025,” a major immigration protest at Dallas. Organizers predict that the event will draw between 20,000 and 50,000 protesters. The planners of the event say actors John Leguizamo and George Lopez will be in attendance.
