Ukraine denied Russian allegations on Saturday that it had indefinitely postponed prisoner swaps, accusing Moscow of "playing dirty games" after overnight Russian missile and bomb strikes on Kharkiv left three people dead and 22 injured.

A planned exchange of Russian and Ukrainian prisoners of war failed to take place on Saturday, with Moscow accusing Kyiv of postponing the swap at the last minute, which Ukrainian officials dismissed as more “dirty games” from the Kremlin.

Russia anticipates Ukraine's decision on prisoner swaps and the transfer of deceased soldiers. The Russian Defence Ministry claims Kyiv has yet to consent to humanitarian operations and has not appeared for discussions,
