Rupert Everett won’t be returning to Emily in Paris. The 66-year-old actor claimed he was "fired" from the hit Netflix series after appearing as Italian fashion designer Giorgio Barbieri in the season 4 episode “All Roads Lead to Rome.”

Lily Collins stars in "Emily in Paris" as Emily Cooper, an American who moves to France for work. Everett made his debut on the show in its latest episode, released in September 2024. The Season 4 finale, "All Roads Lead to Rome," introduced Giorgio as an old friend of Emily's boss Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu).
