Trump Media and Technology Group Corp. (NASDAQ:DJT) has filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to list a bitcoin-tied exchange-traded fund on NYSE Arca, it said on Thursday.

NYSE Arca on Tuesday submitted a filing to the U.S. markets regulator seeking regulatory approval to list the Truth Social Bitcoin ETF.

Trump Media and Technology Group Corp. on Thursday said it had filed a registration statement for an exchange-traded fund that would directly hold bitcoin — the latest move into cryptocurrency by those in Trump’s orbit as his administration tries to deregulate the industry.
