Historic Nunavut flag rescued from trash can. The flag that flew over the first sitting of the Nunavut legislative assembly has turned up at an Inuit art shop in Saint John.

They rated Nunavut's flag 17th out of the overall 72 from all the U.S., Canadian and Mexican flags. Canada's number one flag was Quebec's. The first choice overall was New Mexico's flag.
