The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning at 9:05 p.m. on Saturday in effect until Sunday at 12:30 a.m. for Bullock, Macon and Montgomery counties.

A nearly stationary thunderstorm has dumped 2.5 inches of rain near Savannah from 4-5 p.m., and another 1-3 inches of rain is likely to fall. That's why officials have issued the warning until 6:45 p.m. Saturday.
