Republican Rep. Nancy Mace kicked off her bid for governor of South Carolina Wednesday night with a town hall. Mace faced a friendly audience, but some of her GOP colleagues have faced furious voters at their own town halls.

Rep. Nancy Mace, a Republican candidate for South Carolina governor, said she’d “debate anyone” at a town hall where dissenters were asked to leave.
